Park Golden Co offers three types of Residential Permits:

GOLDEN RESIDENT PERMITS
All Residents who live in the municipal limits of Golden are eligible to request a free electronic permit allowing you to park for up to 2 hours daily in the downtown garages, surface lots, and Community Center lots without registering at a kiosk or online.
If you plan to park over the 2 hour limit or think you may, register online using Tap 'N Explore or by registering at a payment station. We recommend that residents who think they might park in excess of 2 hours register via Tap ‘N Explore immediately upon parking as the system to receive reminders and extend your time.
Please note that the Golden Residential Permit is an additional permit that can be requested in conjunction with a designated neighborhood permit zone.

DOWNTOWN & NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS
If you have requested your permit within the last year for the 2024 year, your permit has been transitioned into the new program. No action is required. If you would like to activate your permit in the new system, which allows you to see your permit term length and request Visitor Permits with the click of a button.
To get set up with your own profile, please click to register below and set up your profile. Once your profile has been set up, you can request a Permit Link Code from us to see your permit.

This is an annual permit; re-registration is required 12 months from the issue date. Registration will be available Fall 2024.

VISITOR PARKING PERMITS
If you already have Visitor Hangtags for your residence, these have been transitioned to the new permit program and no action is required. If you would like to be able to virtually request your permits and have them activate in real time, please register for the new permit portal and request a Permit Link Code.
If you need to replace your hangtags or qualify for hangtags from the previous system please contact our Golden Parking Ambassadors. We are also available to answer any questions you might have about your existing permit or for assistance with a new permit.
